You might remember I was asking what to get when my friend got married - especially as I couldn't make the reception. He never sent me a gift list and I couldn't afford anything like that anyway, so I've just used my initiative and very small budget. Do you think it sounds nice? Bearing in mind they're only 25 and have only just moved in together. So I got them two pearly white pillar candles, beautifully scented. I got them a nice mirrored photo frame, a little book called 'the truth about love' - it's like an animal picture book with annotations, really cute. I got two pots of posh bath stuff, one blue, one pink, both lovely smelling - they're decorative as well, so even if they don't use them they'd look nice. And a fridge magnet which says 'the opinion of the husband in this house does not always reflect that of the management'. The last thing is some posh chocolate stirrers for hot drinks =) I just thought they were nice things that suit any occasion, especially AFTER the wedding! I just read that back again and it sounds like I expect everyone to say 'oh it sounds lovely they'll love it' - but I've no clue about wedding gift etiquette!

I know it's lame but I'm kinda desprate. Christmas is coming up fast and I don't know what to get my boyfriend because a month later is his birthday and then it will be valentines day (do you even get things for your boyfriend for vday?). I don't have enough ideas! I was thinking for one gift I will get him this CD he has been wanting and maybe like a candle (haha its weird but he likes candles) in a scent he likes and maybe some candy or somthing. But idk really what to do for the others. We've been together for a year and he is a senior. So when he goes away to college I am going to make him a scrap book of pictures and memories of us to take with him. So that idea is taken. What would you guys buy for a guy your serious about? I find shopping for guys impossible. I feel bad cause his gifts always own mine in the face. For my birthday he bought me a really pretty necklace and a stuff animal and last valentines day he got me roses. I got him nothing...I suck at this. Help! lol. I feel like an idiot...

This is my first baby so I don't know what to expect but I heard you can be there 4 days. It's a boy and I'm breastfeeding. I don't have a breast pump yet and not sure if the hospital is going to give me one. I'm making my hospital bag today and this is what I have so far. Did I forget an item or should I leave out anything? 3 changes of clothes robe slippers my comfy sandals fleece socks undies/bras fleece blanket pillow shampoo/conditioner body wash razor washcloths/towel toothbrush/toothpaste deoderant face wash cocoa butter lotion and ponds face lotion compact creme foundation lip gloss bedhead hair product pick/brush hair tyes/bobby pins hot/cold gel pack scented candle tylenol vicks inhaler books/magazines DVDs cash wallet with IDs keys cell phone camera carseat tropical trail mix 2 dr. brown baby bottles 5 huggies diapers i got as samples 2 or 3 changes of clothes for baby mittens/booties/cap baby blanket baby toy & stuffed animal It takes me 15 mins. to shower, wash face, put on lotion and foundation and fix hair. These are basic things I do everyday. It's not about being worried about what I look like. I also have to use lipgloss constantly because I have huge lips that will dry out and crack. I have this Loreal Feel Naturale creme foundation that is good for my skin (helps with acne) and takes half a second to apply after I put lotion on my face. I want to feel good and I don't if I don't do these basic things.

Okay, so there's a girl that I've been friends with since we were in preschool. I'll be a Freshman next year, she'll be a softmore. So, we've been friends for over 10 years. We're practically sisters. We share everything with each other, and we're both only children. I love her to death, and would gladly take a bullet for her. (:P) And by love her, it's not in THAT way. (She has a boyfriend and I'm...working on it you could say. xD) But she's like my family - we're inseperable. I think the longest we've ever gone without talking, whether from a fight or whatever, is about a day. :P Her 15th birthday was on Wednesday, and her party's today. I'm having a dilemma about what I should get her. :P I obviously don't want it to be too impersonal, since I know her better than I know myself sometimes. BUT, I'm out of ideas. xD Over the last few years I've gotten her picture frames (without pictures of us when we were REALLY little), an iHome, candles in her favorite scents, bubble wrap (long story), a scarf that I knitted (which...didn't turn out that great...xD), etc. But now I have no idea what to get her. I'm thinking like, a girl's day out. (I'd pay for everything) Lunch, a movie, go get our nails done, stuff like that. But does anyone have any ideas? She loves: Horseback riding (We both do) Animals (She has a dog and a cat, and we volunteer at an animal shelter together) Reading (Although she hasn't had much time lately) Softball Music (Pretty much all kinds) Drawing That's pretty much the main things. :) So! Any ideas?
