So, I go on craigslist every once in a while and look around. Anyway, this lady is selling her two teddy bear hamsters. They are caged together, and the cage is also way too small for them. First of all, teddy bear hamsters shouldn't be caged together (the same with all hamsters except dwarf hamsters) and one will most likely end up killing one of them. I had a lot of anxiety, and felt like if I didn't say anything to the lady letting her know that them being together is bad, that it would be my fault if one ended up killing the other one. So I wrote her an email today, and said that I am just trying to be helpful by letting her know that hamsters can't be caged and why they can't etc. I said I was sorry if I made her mad, but I just don't want a hamster to end up dying. And I let her know that that cage she had them in was way way too small. Now, I'm having a lot of anxiety, because I think that the lady will get mad at me for having written her that. I called my grandma and told her I was having a lot of anxiety and told why. Now, I'm freaking out even more thinking that my grandma is mad at me for having written that to that lady. She said that if she was that lady she would be mad. She said it wasn't any of my business to say that. I didn't say anything mean to that lady, I was just letting her know that they aren't suppose to be caged together. Should I be having anxiety? Was it bad that I let that lady know that stuff? I care a lot about hamsters, a lot a lot. So if I see something that's happening that is really bad, and don't say anything, I have so much anxiety, because I don't want anything bad to happen to an animal. **** read--> when I said ' i care about hamsters, a lot a lot' i meant to say 'animals' and not 'hamsters'. i care a lot about hamsters, but i meant to say that I care deeply about animals! The lady hasn't replied at all. I don't know her at all, I just saw her ad on craigslist, that's all. thank you guys! so much!! i already have seen a doctor etc etc. and i do have chronic anxiety along with other things.

So I have been searching craigslist for about two weeks getting pretty obsessed with finding a place to live. I have to be out of the place I live now by the end of the month and its getting down to the wire. I have gone and looked at about six rooms now and probably sent out a hundred e-mails to people. I pretty much have to move in a week. I have come across all types of good and bad. So far out of six places I have been to, only this last one I saw yesterday wants me to move in. Its a really nice place everything is perfect about it other then the fact that it has a super hippy vegan vibe. I can afford it, it has features in the room that I have always wanted, utilities included, nice positive people, good common space, fancy kitchen, good location (close to boyfriend, transportation, and work) and a beautiful back yard. The only down side is that it has a meat free and possibly animal product free kitchen. I am basically a vegan but I am not committed to the ideology behind it and I still eat animal products sometimes. I dont think it would be a big deal to not have animal products in the refrigerator if I lived there because I have a fridge at work and by boyfriends house. I rarely buy them anyways. The stuff thats holding me back is more about the possibility of personality conflicts, I am just afraid that Im too conservative for them. I grew up on a commune and have a total hippy background but thats not who I am now. I still have a lot of the same morals and ideas but I dont look or feel like one. I keep telling my self that if they are willing to accept me then I should be able to accept them. Everyone tells me to go with my instinct or that Ill know if its right but I have an anxious personality and I dont know how to get past the anxiety to get to the gut feeling. Should I just do it? Time is running out and I think I would be happy there and most likely as long as I am respectful about the vegan stuff they will be respectful about my more mainstream (hipster-ish) vibe. I want to be in a healthy environment , am I just being commitment phobic? I'm someone who cant even order at a restaurant without worrying if I should have gotten something else...

I found this is on craigslist. I wonder whats up with this dog.. "I have and AKC Black female Pup 10 weeks old. When I took her to the vet for her exam & shots at 6 weeks,she checked out fine. About a week and a half later something seemed odd, the way she sat and stuff, then she started walking funny and now she doesnt use her back legs at all. I found a lump on her spine near the back, may be a slipped disc, or growth or something Im not sure. She seems to be mostly paralyzed in both back legs. I give her 1/2 asprin a day incase incase she has inflamation or pain. She does not seem to be in pain because she doesnt wine when you mess with her legs, which bent and move like the should. I do not think it could be hip dysplasia because both parents have alot of OFA certified hips and elbows in their pedigree and the mom had 3 past litters with no problems with any of the other pups. She is beautiful and I dont want to put her down. If there are any animal lovers that would be willing to take her for xrays or if anyone out there knows of a reputable rescue place please contact me. I will not hand over the AKC papers until I see a vet bill and/or see the dog healed. I can not afford to pay for xrays and surgery if needed, that is why I am offering this dog to someone who can. You must provide a reference from a vet before I let her go, please understand I just want her to go to a good home, thats why Im needing a reference or copies of old vet bills or something. If anyone has any other ideas of what this could be or websites where she could get help, please let me know. I am going to try and find her a loving home, but if I cant find one I will have to take her into the vet to get put to sleep. PLEASE HELP. I named her HOPE. "

ok my b-day in comeing up in a month and a hafe or so (may 1st) and my parent tend to buy my presents early so i wann tell them what i want soon but i cant decide i know lot about all of these ive spent 2 years researching them all to decide witch one i want but i cant decide can i have some ups and down or pros and cons. ok i really want a pet to cuddle with like a guinea pig. but i want a interesting pet like a chinchilla but chins dont wanna cuddle and i dont really want to get into the hair ring stuff. my parents said no rats or mice but i still want some pros and cons. last i would pposibly like a gerbil their soo fun i love playing with my friends 7 gerbils she used to have a guinea pig but i olny seen him once.sugar gliders are cool but their REALLY ANNOING, SMELLY, AND URIEN ON YOU WHEN YOU HOLD THEM FOR NO REASON i know female chins do the same but olny when scared. also can you awencer a coupple or quistions do chins cuddle?? do sugar gliders all ways bark and smell? do ferret smell all the time? well ive been wanting a exotic pet forever i want a chinchilla but i have to wait till im older to get one because they live so long it would be a pain to keep one through college. And then i kept researching exotic animals that are small that i can keep. And i finally found out that african dormice are perfect for me. But i have a few questions. One are they expense to keep once you have the habitat and everything. Like i mean like food and other stuff. And are they legal to keep in Illinois. And i was looking at craigslist and the cheapest tank i found was this 45 gallon that has a crack in it but it would do fine for dry small animals. and it even comes with a stand and lid. and its dirt cheap. And im wondering will it make a good size for african dormice. And what will i need to fill it with to make it as close to there real habitat. How many african dormice could i put in there. and are ther any really good websites on how to take care of african dormice as pets, because i want to make sure im not getting myself into something i will regret. Ps im not a impulse buyer ive been researching for years on what to get so im going to research even more before i get one. i just need some really helpful websites
