I am scared to sleep alone every night, i always need someone to sleep with me in the same room. I still live with my parents and i always sleep in my brother's room. The bed in my room is very dusty, i haven't slept on it in years. I've tried many things and it all failed! I tried sleeping with a stuff animal and that didn't work. I can't sleep with a pet because my parents won't allow it. I tried sleeping with the lights on of course and it works sometimes, but it's a waste of energy, parents will not allow it. My parents think im pathetic because i'm still afraid of the dark I am not scared of robbers or anything, i am scared of GHOSTS!!!! I always feel like something is watching me, i can like feel them. This has been ruining my life for 21 years. Please don't ask me to seek help, i don't have money to seek a psychiatrist I need suggestions to overcome my fear! And i heard this is a type of phobia, can someone tell me what type so i can research it more?

I have a very, very, VERY odd phobia of the movie character E.T. the Extra Terrestrial. I'm not sure why and I'm not sure how, but it's really weird. When ever I see a picture of him, I either scream or make another shocked sound, and then sometimes I cry afterward. Last time I tried to watch the movie, I passed out. My brother will turn on the soundtrack and it's theme song will come on. I can't help but cover my ears and scream to cover the noise x) It's quit sad really. It's the weirdest thing. The saddest part, I'd have to say, is that he makes me afraid of the dark. If I hear something moving through the dark, I immediately think it's E.T. and I want to cry. It's soooo sad and way weird. On April Fools, my best friends thought it would be funny to post E.T. pictures in my locker. Turns out, it wasn't as funny as they thought it would be xD I passed out and had to be sent to the nurses office. Thank God they didn't tell any other peers or else they'd probably make fun of me till we all graduate. People that DO know about it, like my friends, dad, brother, and such, find it funny -.-" They say they're gonna put an E.T. stuffed animal in my closet, locker, and such. Why do they think it's funny?? Not sure, it's actually just really cruel xD Hopefully they'll stop someday, but till then, I guess I'm just stuck. Thanks for reading^^ (This is really a vent, but if anyone has a "cure" or "treatment" that would be great ;)) I'm 15 as a matter of fact.

Now, I don't normally have a phobia of spiders, so I don't know the significance of this dream. In my dream, someone was making weird spider creratures that ate slightly larger animals like small birds and then absorbed them, and became bigger. There were A LOT of them after a while, making groups and webs on the walls and stuff. Then I came home, and I refused to do something from the bad guy, and the spider creatures launched themselves on me, millions of them and started eating me! I screamed and screamed trying to protect myself but after a while they leapt off themselves when they were done. What does this mean?

i love cats VERY VERY MUCH but i CAN'T keep them in the house my sister have allergies +phobia from cats anyway this morning i found a beautiful little kitty in the background ... she is blind bu ther coat looked fine and healthy and she is not underweight ... she doesn't has a collar (sp?) tho i wanted to get a closer look at her but she sensed that i was getting close and started meowing really loud and then my cat ( also stray that lives in our background and i take good care of her ) came and fought with her when i was trying to get my car to get off the blind one escaped and she was bumping into trees and walls and she was walking really low it was really sad =( i don't know where she is now and my cat will fight with her should i look for her ??? what should i do to help her ?? note: there is NO non-kill shelter in my country and NO ONE HERE CARES ABOUT ANIMAL ( i mean a place to but animals and stuff) and the only vet is 2hrs away and it is closed today yeah and i'm broke i feel helpless and i really want to help her she didn't seemed to be afraid to be around me when i talked to her she will meow at me i don't think you read my Q at all - i'm not allergic - there is NO NON KILL SHELTERS AROUND HERE !!!!! - the only vet clinic here is 2 hrs away and is closed today ahhh to be living in a third world country and animals have no rights
